Clever re-thinking breathes new life into Alcove cabinet

SF Furniture was contacted by a longstanding Client to say she had changed address, and a piece that Declan O'Donoghue had designed for a specific alcove in her previous address was no longer being used as its alcove was gone! Declan was then asked if he could re-think the cabinet and make it useable in her new home study.
After a careful re-think, Declan designed a new stand totake theoriginal cabinet. He cleverly mimicked the configuration of the existing Cabinet in reverse and left them ope with glass shelves to take a varietu of books,ornaments etc.
The new stand is a stand alone piece also and could be used as a side table if an alcove was again found for the cabinet.
